TAKE US TO THE RENAISSANCE

Yesterday we had a long and tiring experience in Vilnius filming new LNK TV series ,,Juodosios Našlės'' (End: Black Widows) which is going to air next year. Honestly, the scene we were shooting for reportedly will last only 5 minutes on screen, so keeping in mind that we were on set from 1 am to 5 pm makes me amazed how long it takes to shoot all the episodes. Anyway, let me tell you everything from the beginning.

My dear friend Nikas, who also took these shots in Crowne Plaza Vilnius, invited me and sister to go  to Vilnius and get a taste of Lithuanian entertainment business along with him. Knowing that we will be an extra cast for the filming, I still couldn't resist to get my foot in the door to acting. In fact, I have some experience in this field, like taking part in musical TV shows or filming a commercial, but I always was eager to know how making TV series works and how everything goes in details, well it looked to be such an enjoyment for me.

Let me spoil a little by saying that the background for those 5 minute takes was a celebration party for magazine ,,Žmonės" (Eng: People) held by its own editor-in-chief (the main actor). All we had to do is drink champagne, chat and repeat the same rehearsed steps again and again, sometimes get into the contact with the main actors.  It may not sound like a big deal, but believe me, it was. The filming was long and tiring, however it was interesting and enjoyable as I got to chat with so many famous people that once were my biggest idols. Most importantly, it changed my whole perspective of this TV world. It is so much different from what I imagined.

Need to mention that we got complimented all the way through filming. Everyone seemed to like our style which wouldn't have been possible without the help of Style City boutique. We borrowed these champagne and white colored adorable dresses which I was so sure, would match the theme of the shooting perfectly.  The dresses matched in style and was so on point during the filming!
