The biggest show of the year finally happened a few weeks ago in Vilnius Siemens Arena, which attracted a lot of people, more than previous years regarding the fact that this time there were two shows in the evening. I was so excited for the show, not only because Juozas Statkevičius is one of my most favorite designers of all time, but also because this time the show was...mhm...slightly different.

Different never was a bad word and it perfectly describes S/S 16 show. Wait, I might of course need to add a few others like, chaotic, dramatic, tough, punk to name a few...Looking back one or two years ago you could tell that the collections were so much inspired by certain nationalities' cultures, but what would see-through tops, dramatic eyeliner and nightclub theme with some strippers mean? I guess the viewer should just interpret this in the easiest way possible, as this is how the secret life of Juozas Statkevičius looks like.

No matter what the true meaning behind this would be, it's up to the viewer to decide how should he put this form of fashion into his perspective. My favorite explanation so far is that everyone has their secret life that they don't want to talk about, its within us...
